Super Falcons stars are partying hard in Lagos, ignoring the noise on social media surrounding their $100,000 gift from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Tinubu conferred national honour (OON) and gifted a three-bedroom apartment, and a Naira equivalent of $100,000 to each player after they won their 10th WAFCON title.

The gesture sparked outrage on social media, with Nigerians labelling it as wasteful spending, especially after awarding D’Tigress the same days later, as noted by Vanguard.

Popular streamer Peller called out some Super Falcons stars for not replying to his messages after receiving the monetary gift from the president.

The 19-year-old added that when the money finishes and the Falcons reach out to her, he will repay their gesture by not responding.

Super Falcons stars party in Lagos

Some Super Falcons stars are still enjoying their holiday in Nigeria after winning WAFCON and are yet to return to their club sides.

The trio of Asisat Oshoala, Deborah Abiodun and Oluwatosin Demehin were spotted at a Lagos nightclub, enjoying the groovy nightlife.

Their vibe caught the attention of the fellow clubbers, who added that Oshoala moves with those two teammates like her right and left hand.

Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, who recently joined Brighton Women on a four-year contract, has joined her new teammates.

Nnadozie arrived at the club's training complex on Thursday and was given a warm welcome by her teammates, who celebrated her WAFCON triumph and Ballon d'Or nomination.

As noted by ESPN, she joined the Women's Super League side after running down her contract with Paris FC, the club she played for five years.

Rasheedat Ajibade calls out Deborah Abiodun

Legit.ng previously reported that Rasheedat Ajibade called out Deborah Abiodun after a service gone wrong based on the recommendation of the US-based star.

Abiodun recommended a barber to her captain, and Ajibade was displeased with the style of the cross made by the stylist, which she said wasn't Jesus-like.
