- Paul Scholes has doubts about Chelsea winning the Premier League title this season despite their great run of form
- Thomas Tuchel's men currently sit at the summit of the league table with 22 points after nine rounds of games
- But both Liverpool and Manchester City are closing in on them every matchday with just one and two points separating all three top teams
Manchester United legend Paul Scholes believes Chelsea's chances of winning the Premier League titles are slim.
This is in spite of the Blues impressive run of results which has seen them lose just one game after nine matches so far this campaign.
The west Londoners have consequently picked 22 points, a haul that has them topping the standings ahead of rivals Liverpool and Man City.

Meanwhile, unbeaten Liverpool are in the English topflight trail Chelsea by a single point, while third place Man City are two points behind the London side.
The Reds' 5-0 triumph at Old Trafford last weekend is enough for any other team to be wary of them as they contend for the top prize at the end of the season.
And despite Chelsea setting an early pace on the summit of the log, Scholes says he still has doubt if Tuchel's side can mount a serious challenge for the title.
The legendary midfielder was quoted by Metro UK saying this season's Premier League title race is between Liverpool and City adding that he does not see Chelsea in the mix.
What Paul Scholes Said
"Chelsea… I’m not sure, they have been great and I think they are better than I actually give them credit for but I think it’s between Liverpool and Manchester City. I think City watching that today, in the Champions League or the Premier League, that will frighten them.
Speaking on United's comprehensive defeat to Liverpool, Scholes described the loss as "devastating" adding the result will leave City worried.
