FCT, Abuja- A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, said no amount of blackmail or political scheming will stop President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

Kwankwaso said the former Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami’s convoy, the disruption of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) leaders’ meeting in Kaduna recently, and other similar incidents were politically motivated.

As reported by Daily Trust, he said the incidents are aimed at tarnishing President Tinubu’s image and reducing his chances of being re-elected.

“There were many presidents from northern Nigeria before President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Recently, Buhari did eight years, but of a sudden, people are talking about bastardizing the north.”

The Director of Finance at Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority said security under Tinubu is fast improving.

“These accusations of thug attacks on opposition leaders being thrown at the APC are but orchestrated plans to blackmail the president ahead of the 2027 election.
“But President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s scorecard will always speak for him. There are many infrastructural projects going on in various parts of the northern region.
