A Nigerian man has surprised his mother with a fine bungalow apartment, nine years after they were ridiculed and sent packing by her stepson following her husband's death.

To pull off the surprise, the man had told his mother that he bought land and that his elder brother will take her to see the place.

On getting there, she was handed the key to a completed apartment. A TikTok video capturing the lovely moment showed the woman shocked as she received the house key.

She entered the place and was soon joined by her daughter who rolled on the floor out of excitement.

The woman burst into a joyous dance and knelt to thank God over the new house.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a lady had gifted her mother a new house on her 53rd birthday.

The lady who lives in Makurdi said her running around to make ends meet eventually paid off in a big way. A part of her post on Facebook read:
