Ifeoluwa Olusanya, a Lagos State University graduate, has earned widespread praise after completing her five-year undergraduate programme with a First Class Honours degree in Fisheries and Aquatic Biology, finishing with a CGPA of 4.90 out of 5.00.

Her graduation ceremony, held on August 19, 2026, brought more than one reason to celebrate.

In a LinkedIn post, Olusanya reflected on her time at LASU with a deep sense of appreciation, crediting her lecturers, friends, colleagues, and family for the role they played across the five years.

Her fellowship group, the Living Spring Fellowship, as well as the LASU Christian Community (LCC), joined her family in celebrating the milestone.

Adding further meaning to the occasion, she was formally welcomed into the LASU Fisheries Alumni Association on her graduation day, a moment she said reminded her that leaving the department as a student also meant joining a broader community of professionals committed to the field.

"Yesterday was a celebration of what I have accomplished. Today, I am also thinking about what comes next," she wrote in a post shared on August 20, 2026, expressing excitement about stepping into her next chapter as a young professional.

LASU overall best student wins N30 million

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that LASU overall best graduating student won N30 million.

Adebanjo Oluolamide, who graduated with First-Class Honours in Aerospace Engineering, was named LASU's overall best graduating student for the 2025/2026 academic session.

His recognition came during the university's combined 29th and 30th convocation ceremonies, which covered both the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions.
