According to the update released by Republic Of Türkiye Ministry Of Foreign Affairs, Nigerian ordinary passport holders are required to obtain a visa before travelling to Turkey.
The same rule applies to holders of official or service passports, who are also not exempt from the visa requirement despite carrying a government-issued document.
The key distinction applies to diplomatic passport holders. Nigerians in this category do not need a visa to enter Turkey and are permitted to stay for up to 90 days visa-free.
