He recounted how he struggled to achieve his dreams, stating that he had hit rock bottom years ago, feeling mentally drained and was on the verge of giving up.

Man shares his grass to grace story
However, a turning point came when he had a vivid dream of a prosperous life, which he initially dismissed as a hallucination.
Undeterred, he continued to work multiple jobs, including manual labour, while pursuing a part-time course in cybersecurity.
The man, identified as @steezy10 on X, said his hard work eventually paid off and he travelled abroad to further his studies.
In his words:
"If you like give up, that’s on you as for me giving up will never be an option see the glow up. I remember back then in Nigeria when I took the photo in the first frame, I was mentally tired and was about to give up then I slept off and had a dream of a beautiful city with nice buildings and nice cars and didn’t understand what was going on. I woke up thinking it was hunger that was probably causing me to hallucinate because all of it felt unreal because all I’ve known was hard life and struggles.
"I dusted it off and went to my daily site work to carry headpan and offload iron rods as usual for my daily bread. A graduate with no hope was my daily life until I decided to enrol in a cybersecurity training I was doing part time with work and built skills then traveled for my masters and since then I’ve been seeing all that was in my dream, I’m glad I didn’t let the suffering and depression in that country derail me from achieving my dream because if I didn’t fight my way out I would never have found the life I live right now.

"All I can say is find a way out of any unprogressive place you find yourself before it drags you down and you end up miserable like I was in that first image. Never listen to people that tell you not to waste your time moving out but make your money there first then go do vacations abroad. Many of them can’t even afford to visit neighbouring countries now let alone travel abroad. Just move now and start your life."
