Lady's gas cooker unexpectedly blows up

Identified as @Dasilva on TikTok, the lady shared her harrowing experience with her followers, sparking lots of emotional comments.

She had stepped away from the kitchen momentarily, leaving her cooking unattended, when the gas cylinder suddenly exploded.

According to her account of the incident, she had just served herself a plate of noodles and was about to take a break when disaster struck.

The explosion was intense, and the aftermath was so glaring in the damage caused to her kitchen.

In the video she posted, she showed the extent of the destruction, with burnt appliances and debris scattered around.

It was clear that the incident could have had far more severe consequences if she had not acted swiftly.

"I was cooking noodles this morning and this happened after I served noodles inside plate just to take a step out of the kitchen and the gas blow," she narrated.

Commenting on the story, a Nigerian mother, Chidi Mmachukwu, said she prefers stainless gas cookers to those made of glass.

"Stainless gas cookers are the best for me. That's the only one I use. I prefer them to glass and I feel they are safer. Glass is aesthetically catchy but I feel it's also risky," she said.
