Identified on X as @issaku, the man shared details about his age and the duration since he had obtained his passport.
He explained that at 33, he was yet to secure employment, a situation that left him feeling frustrated and ashamed.
He expressed the heavy emotional torture of watching his mother grow older, stating that his pain was worsened by his inability to provide for himself and contribute to her wellbeing.
In the video, he displayed his passport as a symbol of his readiness to leave the country in search of a more promising future.
He expressed a strong desire to move far from home in the hope of finding work that would allow him to support himself and build a life of stability.

"My name is Isaac, I'm 33 years old, from Ghana. Today marks exactly three years and eight months since I made my passport. I'm currently unemployed and I'm desperately seeking employment. I want to get out of my country, I want to be far away from my mother because she's the reason why I feel like I'm dying slowly every day. I'm not ashamed of my mom, but I feel ashamed of myself at my age, still being unemployed, dying slowly, seeing my mom grow each and every day. I could be your brother, I could be your husband, I could be your employee. Please, this is day three of seeking my destiny, help me."
Commenting on the story, a Nigerian man, Ubong Mike, said it's never easy for men who were born into humble backgrounds.
"If you're born into a poor background you have a lot of work to do. It's never easy. You don't have the foundation. You have to rise from the ground and it's difficult. I understand what the young man is going through" he said.
