The post is captioned:
"The place I took my birthday pic used it for poster without telling."
Some people in the comment section of the post argued that the copyright to the photo belonged to the photographer and that he could use it anyhow he likes.
However, the lady responded by saying she did nto sign up for a modelling session.
She wrote:
"Firstly, I didn’t post the video cause I want money from them or sue them… secondly, I am not angry that he used my pic for his poster, it’s his work, he’s proud of it, and I will say I am beautiful too… that’s why he used it. My only issue is that he didn’t ask me first, of which if he did, I’d gladly say yes… To the people saying the picture is his, I paid for it.. I didn’t sign up for modelling, and some people are misreading the lost because of the emoji that I used. But I always use crying emoji, not because I’m angry or sad and most people do too sooo let’s all be guided."

"Y’all are so funny, it’s her picture for Gods sake, she didn’t model for him and she paid for it. The best is to seek her consent before doing that. Abi she no pay money?"

"You’re the person wrong here, the picture doesn’t belong to you legally. As long you didn’t sign ownership right after his Service, it tells that the property belongs to him and he can even sue you for making this video if he wants to make scene and money … well this is Nigeria."
