RCCG: Pastor Adeboye Requests 10 People To Donate N1 Billion Each For Building Development

  • Pastor E.A. Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) made a financial request during a sermon
  • The man of God said the crowd at the RCCG Campground was getting larger with each convention
  • He said he needs 10 people who could donate N1 billion each so that the church can make accommodation provisions for the expanding crowd

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has solicited the support of his church members in further expansion of the RCCG Campground in Mowe, Ogun state.

The respected man of God told a crowd of worshipers at the ongoing 2025 RCCG convention that the number of people attending each year's convention was increasing.

He said some of the facilities were no longer enough to accommodate the crowds that trooped into the camp, hence the need for steps to be taken to remedy this.

He said:

"Those of you who were here yesterday when we were still at the old arena, I announced to you that we had a good problem. The camp was full of people. We had to beg all those who are trying to come in to come over here. Because there was a go-slow that spilled over to the expressway. And as you are seeing on the screen, that is the old arena. It is still overflowing with people. And you can see how many of us are here.

He described the expanding crowd and attendees at the camp as a good problem that the church has to urgently address.

He said:

"We have a good problem. A good problem is when a pastor has more people than he can accommodate. And if it is like this year, by the grace of God by this time next year, we would have doubled. We have to do something and do it fast. We have to build many more dormitories. For instance, if you look at the choir, their altar was built to take 10,000 of them. They have outgrown that. You can see some of them sitting on the floor. Many times, the camera doesn't cover all of them. But we have to enlarge the altar before December. The same thing with the altar in the old arena. Now, with new accommodation that we must provide, then come some related development."

The pastor, therefore, requested financial assistance for the RCCG Camp Project so that the church can make additional development efforts at the camp.

He made it clear that the money is not for him but for the RCCG Camp Project and told willing members not to send the money in his name.

He made the request in a live program monitored on Dove TV YouTube Channel on day 5 of the 2025 convention.

He noted that the church is likely to increase in the number of attendees at the camp, which is why there must be further provision of accommodation.

He said the church has a lot of work to do to provide a better water system, electricity and more facilities for the increasing crowd at the camp.

Giving not by force, says Pastor Adeboye

The man of God said he is not forcing people to give, noting that those who want to give to the RCCG Camp project should do so willingly.

He said:

"It's a long time I made this kind of appeal last. But we can't dodge the issue anymore. So I need some of my children to step forward and assist. I'm not asking them to come forward to the altar, I'm just saying. I have done a little bit of calculation. We are going to need several billions of naira. So I'm asking my children, those of you who can. Nobody is forcing you. He has never let me down. Like I was telling you yesterday, when the devil is saying you must remain poor, you have to say no way. It takes a lot of money to arrange things like this. Just try to imagine how much it takes to feed this crowd. Two meals a day for one week. You can't be poor and do this and that is why my God will make you very rich. I have cried to him for billionaires. I know he heard me. I know he answers prayers."

"How wonderful will it be, if two or three of you can come and say Daddy, don't make any announcement, how much billion do you need? I will give it to you.'

To this end, Pastor Adeboye said he needs donors in various categories to support the work at the RCCG Camp project.

"But right now, I need at least 10 of my children who can give me N1 billion each. And then I need 100 of my children who can give me N100 million each. And I need 1000 of my children who can give me N10 million each. And then I need the rest of you who can give me anything you want from N1 million to 2 to 3 or even N1000."
