Abdurahman Sade, the Sadaukin Bauchi, has said that the popular praise singer of President Bola Tinubu, Singer Dauda Kahutu Rarara, is a legend. He added that the singer deserves an honorary doctorate from any institution in the world.

According to Daily Trust, the Sadaukin Bauchi disclosed that he had drawn the attention of the university to the earlier anomaly, and vowed to continue to push so that the singer can get genuine recognition from the institution.
His statement reads in part:
“The world should forget about the one that is fake. I am personally pushing for him to get a genuine one. I am a fan of Rarara.”
How Nigerians react to Rarara's honorary degree
However, the picture of the singer, which was shared on social media, generated mixed reactions from some Nigerians. Below are some of their reactions:
Salisu Sanusi wrote:
“He was duped. There’s nothing like European American University operating in Nigeria. It is an online gimmick that preys on the gullible. If we have journalists worth the name, they would have discovered that Rarara was spectacularly duped this afternoon."

Yushau Musa commented:
"This is not an honour, it’s a mockery. When entertainers with zero academic contribution are paraded as 'Doctors,' it only proves how cheap some institutions have become. A PhD is no longer a symbol of scholarship but of political connections and money."
Abdul Dojeer said:
"Masha Allah, what an achievement in just less than 1 year of marriage. New song that boosts him. Again, international honour as Dr Meaning Rarara is a good example of passing a message through music. And here he is celebrating."
Dr. Mukhtar Bello Maisudan
"How can a University in the Dominican Republic know and appreciate his contributions and base their decision for the award? There are scavengers searching and defrauding the likes of Rarara for such awards. I wish for a local university to award him directly."
Sardaunan tweeted:
"Congratulations, Dr Dauda Adamu Kahutu (RARA). Here is a paper titled Code Switching in RARA Songs: A Sociolinguistic Analysis. As a dedicated researcher, I find it necessary to document your contributions to linguistics."
