21-Year-Old Lady Kills Lover in Delta, Police Take Action

The Nigeria Police Force has arrested a 21-year-old mother of two, Lilian, for allegedly stabbing her partner to death during a domestic dispute at Ijanpa Road axis of Delta state.

The Delta state police command's spokesperson, Bright Edafe, confirmed the arrest in a post shared on his X page on Wednesday, September 3.

According to Edafe, Lilian had been co-habiting with the deceased, a 34-year-old man, for four years, beginning the relationship when she was 17.

The couple had two children together.

Edafe disclosed that during interrogation, the suspect admitted to stabbing her partner in the chest during an argument that turned violent.

“She claimed he attempted to end their relationship, which led to a quarrel.
“She said he beat her with a cane and smashed her head on the ground before she rushed to the kitchen to get a knife.
“When he advanced towards her, she stabbed him despite warning him to stay away,” Edafe tweeted.

Lilian revealed that she stabbed her husband to defend herself after he tried to end the relationship with her.

Woman stabs married man to death in Rivers

Similarly, Legit.ng reported that a married man, Igbodike Anthony, was stabbed to death by a woman in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

It was gathered that Sarah Nwankpo stabbed Igbodike to death for demanding for more sex on December 22, 2023.

Sarah was locked up by the occupants while she was trying to escape from the deceased's apartment.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that an 84-year-old man in Edo state, Gabriel Ahuwa, was arrested by the police for allegedly killing his 75-year-old wife for refusing to sleep with him.

The state police spokesperson, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, disclosed this while parading Ahuwa and 197 other suspects.
