Danfulani Leads NAIC Executive Talks to Advance Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda
In a bold move to reposition the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC) in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, Managing Director/CEO, Mr Yazid Shehu Umar Danfulani, has spearheaded a strategic engagement with the Corporation’s top management.
The meeting, held at NAIC headquarters in Abuja, was a high-level session aimed at charting a new direction for the agency’s growth and impact within Nigeria’s agricultural sector.

Also in attendance was the Chairman of the Board, Dr Aliyu Bello, who formally met with the Executive Management team.
The team includes Mr Abubakar Umar Jarengo, Executive Director of Operations; Prince Babaranti Ayandayo Rasheed, Executive Director of Administration and Finance; and Mrs Florence Onwuanuokwu, General Manager, Underwriting.
According to the statement,the central to the discussion was the need to enhance NAIC’s operational efficiency, deepen insurance penetrati0n among farmers, and support the Federal Government’s agricultural transformation initiatives.
Danfulani reaffirmed the Corporation’s commitment to delivering on its mandate, stressing that NAIC must serve as a pillar in Nigeria’s quest for food security and economic stability.
Also,board Chairman Dr Bello commended the Executive Management’s vision and expressed confidence in their capacity to implement strategic reforms that align with national priorities.
The meeting concluded with a renewed pledge to pursue innovation, accountability, and stronger stakeholder collaboration in driving the Corporation to greater heights.
