The recent victory of Bola Tinubu at the presidential polls has been hailed by serving governors on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to the governors, Tinubu's emergence as the president-elect is a befitting birthday gift.
The governors who spoke on the aiges of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), made this known in a birthday anniversary tribute made available to Legit.ng on Wednesday, March 29.

Going further, the forum's chairman and Kebbi state governor, Atiku Bagudu, said the APC governors are confident in Tinubu's ability and also proud of his accomplishments.

He added that Tinubu's patriotism, nationalism, boldness and courage have been acknowledged by majority of Nigerians.
The statement read in part:
"It is a befitting birthday tribute that you are Nigeria’s next President, and even while you are taking a much needed time to reflect on all that need to be done, your vision of a Nigeria that shall take its place of pride among the comity of nation is resonating with all.
"As you celebrate today, we join in praying for a more prosperous future for your good self, the family and indeed our nation.
"We are confident in your ability and also proud of your accomplishments."
Despite concerns by Nigerians, APC insists Bola Tinubu answers his real name, never known as Amoda Ogunlere
Meanwgile, the All Progressives Congress has debunked claims from several quarters that its national leader and Nigeria's president-elect was previously known as Amoda Ogunlere.
In a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) sheet made available to the public by the APC presidential campaign council, the party confirmed that several controversies had been raised over the identity of its 2023 flagbearer.
In the sheet, APC said the claim had remained a mere accusation peddled by some of Tinubu's political opponents in 2003.
