Veteran actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has responded to those blaming Nollywood, the Nigerian movie industry, for the loss of values in society.

Kanayo, in a video, stated that parents are to be blamed as many have become irresponsible and no longer ask questions from their wards.

“Many parents have become irresponsible. They no longer ask questions. No matter how the money is made, bring it. They are pushing their daughters into prostitution of all sorts and sons into crimes and criminalities.”

In other news, Nollywood actor Yul Edochie took social media by surprise after he revealed that he has a son who was welcomed some months ago by his second wife and fellow Nollywood colleague, Judy Austin.

Yul, in a post via his social media timeline, shared a picture of the baby and said it was time for the world to finally meet his son named Star Dik Munachimso Yul-Edochie.

However, a comment by Yul's first wife, May Edochie, who he married when he had nothing, showed all was not well in their home.
