Tragedy As Widow of Nollywood’s Chico Ejiro Loses Their 7-Year-Old Son 11 Months After Burying Hubby

It is indeed a sad and trying period for Joy Chico Ejiro, widow of late Nollywood filmmaker, Chico Ejiro, who left the world in December 2020.

Stella Dimoko Korkus reports that the woman has been thrown into a state of mourning again after losing her 7-year-old son with the late filmmaker.

According to the blogger, the young man passed away 24 hours ago in the US and preparations are already underway to have him buried.

The blogger wrote in a post shared on Instagram:

"Please family pray for my sister @joychicoejiro to be strong as she makes preparations to bury her 7-year-old son who rested in the Lord 24 hours ago in the US. My heart is completely broken".

Months ago, Chico's brother, Zeb, in a statement issued after his death praised the deceased and mentioned his efforts in seeing to the welfare of his last child who was diagnosed with cancer as a toddler.

"Chico in the last six years had devoted his entire life and resources to assure the health and survival of his youngest child who was diagnosed with cancer-related ailments while still a toddler," the statement read in part.

Joy mourns late Chico Ejiro

Months ago after losing her husband, a heartbroken Joy penned an emotional tribute to him on social media.

Joy described her late hubby as a selfless man while thanking God for the opportunity to share 26 years of her life with him.

"In all, I thank GOD for giving me the opportunity to spend the last 26yrs with you, you were a selfless man who was a wonderful husband and a great father. I'm consoled by the beautiful life you lived and the impact you made in the movie industry and all that crossed your path. You will forever be in our hearts. Till we meet again my Baby Boy, I will have plenty gist for you my best friend."
