The Chief Executive Officer of Karid Oil and Gas Ltd and Oil Money Records, Alafaa Kariboye-Igbo, popularly known as Oil Money, has demanded a refund of ₦20 million from Blessing CEO after her controversial cancer claim.
Legit.ng reported that Blessing CEO released a video last week where she cried while shaving her head, claiming she was battling stage 4 cancer and was scared.

She later posted another video saying she was selling her properties to raise money for treatment, and afterwards, tearfully solicited public donations.
This series of videos stirred emotions online but soon raised doubts as inconsistencies began to surface.
A woman identified as Miss Deborah Mbara came forward to say that the medical report shared by Blessing CEO was hers and had been edited to deceive people.
In another development, a lawyer questioned Blessing CEO during an Instagram live session with Daddy Freeze, but she failed to give a clear response, which further deepened suspicion.
Following these controversies, many Nigerians who donated began demanding refunds, describing the act as fraudulent.

However, on April 3, Oil Money, who claimed to have given ₦20 million, took the matter further by sharing a legal document through his Instagram page.
According to him, the donation was made under false pretences and amounted to fraud.

The business mogul explained that the money was given in good faith for cancer treatment, but has now been linked to what he described as a fake cancer account.
Oil Money's legal team demanded that she refund the full amount within 7 days and provide confirmation of payment within the same period.
They warned that failure to comply would lead to immediate legal action, including reporting to law enforcement authorities and seeking damages, interest, and legal costs.
Captioning the post, Oil Money wrote:
“Justice isn’t optional. Refund what’s owed. Ashawo fake life Blessing CEO refund my 20 million naira asap before it’s too late for you.”

Blessing CEO denies forging medical reports
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Blessing CEO denied allegations that she forged medical documents to support her cancer claim.
She made the statement after a woman, Miss Deborah Mbara, accused her of editing her medical report, with the family demanding an explanation and threatening legal action.
During a live session with Daddy Freeze, Blessing CEO insisted that anyone making allegations should provide proof and stated that she was ready to face the matter in court.
