The Afrobeat icon took to his Instagram story to share a direct message from a fan who seemed to be on a mission.
The fan demanded that Davido give up his luxury lifestyle and fly commercial for an entire month during his Nigerian tour.

In the message, the fan linked Davido’s success to rising expectations for other artists, and asked him to reverse it with a symbolic move.
The DM read:
“David, please can you do a protest on behalf of us, that book artists for gigs and on behalf of people who fly commercial planes in general, just one month of you flying commercial flights for this, your 9ja tour. It will trend and humble every other artist because na you cause all this wahala. So you just reverse am.”
Instead of ignoring the message, Davido responded in the most Davido way possible with multiple laughing emojis.
In another development, Davido proved his love once again for his wife Chioma, gifting her a brand new 2025 electric Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.
The viral clips showed snippets of the luxury SUV being delivered by Davido himself and Chioma’s visibly emotional reaction.
The father of twins bragged about only buying the best things for his wife as they both celebrated over the gift.
