Social media personality Martins Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, stirred reactions online with a cryptic post he shared about selective criticism against him.
VeryDarkMan, who recently reacted to Pastor Jerry Eze's N10.6 billion earnings on YouTube, shared in a post via his Instastory how some critics claimed he was being used by the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC), as a distraction tool against the youth.

"If na VeryDarkMan, them go say APC use me dey distract the youth, selective criticism. The 8 is forced... The Ratel is movement for life," he wrote via his Instastory.
While VeryDarkMan's post was not directed at anyone in particular, he, however, made the post amid the massive turnout at celebrity chef Hilda Baci's Jollof rice cookathon in Lagos.
Legit.ng reported that media personality Radiogad claimed over 20,000 Nigerians attended Hilda Baci's cookathon.
The OAP, who criticized the massive turnout, also blamed hunger and unemployment in a video that triggered mixed reactions.
He queried why many Nigerians would leave the comfort of their homes to watch someone cook Jollof rice.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Peller showed up at the venue of Hilda Baci's Jollof rice cookathon in Lagos.
Peller had shared his plans with fans on his social media page to storm the venue. In a short clip, the TikToker, who expressed his love for the celebrity chef, said he was there to support Hilda.
