In the video shared on his social media timeline, the critic revealed that despite not being charged or taken to court, the EFCC had failed to return his phones.

He pointed out that his inability to access his contacts was limiting his ability to assist others.

VeryDarkMan also voiced his suspicions that big businesses might be behind the delay in returning his phones, claiming their influence was blocking his efforts to connect Nigerian youths with Chinese manufacturers and production companies.

He added that the commission was yet to make public his offence since his arrest in May.

“I am begging you to either take me to court or give me my phones. I went to China, made connections with manufacturers and CEOs of production companies. This cost me time and money.
"All of this I did to help many Nigerian youths explore business opportunities, such as importing goods. You all have my phone, and it is restricting me from helping people. GIVE ME MY PHONES OR TAKE ME TO COURT AND TELL NIGERIANS WHAT I DID,” VeryDarkMan wrote in the caption of the video.
