During an interview with actress Biola Bayo, the Yoruba actor made a surprising connection between women’s private choices and faith.
According to the actor, any woman who uses a sex toy is already bowing to an idol.

“Women now cheat to the extent of having multiple sex toy. Is one sex toy not enough? I don’t want to cheat on my husband, yet you bought a sex toy. In my heart, you already worshipped an idol."

The actor also didn’t shy away from commenting on infidelity. He admitted that while men are often the ones dragged for cheating, but women are just as guilty.
He even went as far as tying the rising number of DNA cases to women’s actions.
He stated: .
“I believe women cheat just as men, just that they are smarter. Immediately a man starts having an affair, the wife will notice. But when it’s women, the man won’t even suspect,” he said.
Despite his strong opinions, Afod was quick to pour encomiums on his wife, Desola, crediting her as the backbone of their marriage.
He said:
“Any home that survives the test of time, the woman is the one responsible for it. My wife and I have our own issues, but she is the best woman ever."
