May Edochie Drops Part 2 of Cease-and-Desist Lawsuit, Demands N500 Million: "You Have 48 Hours"

  • Hours after May Yul-Edochie issued a cease-and-desist letter to ex-lawyer Emeka Ugwuonye, she issued a part two to Yinka Theisen
  • The social media sensation and influencer cited alleged cyberbullying and defamation as the reasons for serving Linc's ex-wife

The drama surrounding May Yul-Edochie, estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, and Linc Edochie's ex-wife has reached new heights as she released part two of a lawsuit.

May had some days ago issued a cease-and-desist letter to Yinka, citing cyberbullying, defamation, among other reasons.

In a fresh post that has now sparked online controversy, the influencer gave Yinka a 48-hour ultimatum to pay the sum of N500 million and pull down every defamatory post about May Edochie.

Failure to do so, May's legal representatives have threatened to take legal actions against Yinka.

The lawsuit read in parts:

"Accordingly, we hereby demand that you, within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt of this notice: 1. Cease and desist from making or publishing any further defamatory or malicious statements against our Client, whether directly or indirectly. 2. Withdraw all posts or publications made by you, or caused to be made by you, concerning our Client on each and every medium used in perpetrating these defamatory and malicious acts."
"3. Issue a clear and public apology and publish a full retraction of every derogatory statement you have mode against our Client on all platforms where such statements were mode. Furthermore, you are hereby demonded to make payment of the sum of N500,000.000.00 (Five Hundred Million Naira) as dameges for the molicious publications mode ogainst our Client."

Meanwhile, Emeka Ugwuonye, May Edochie's ex lawyer claimed the Edochie family is under pressure due to the outcry related to her and Yul's estranged relationship.
