Popular Yoruba actor and filmmaker Segun Ogungbe has finally reacted to the claims his now-former partner and actress Omowunmi Ajiboye made against him.
Legit.ng recalls reporting that Omowunmi during an interview addressed the misconception regarding her relationship with Ogungbe.

According to Omowunmi, who leaked alleged details about Ogungbe in 2024, she and the actor were never married or engaged.
Omowunmi also claimed Segun Ogungbe never met her family, except for a friend of her sibling who lives in Lagos.
She also appealed to fans to take it easy on her, stressing that she didn’t destroy Segun’s life.
Speaking during an interview on Oyinmomo TV, Ogungbe who refused to admit or refute the claim made against him, simply tendered apology to everyone who were disappointed by the social media drama between him and Wunmi.

The actor who spoke highly of his first wife Atinuke, who he disclosed gave birth to their first child in 2000, stated that he didn't plan to take a second wife.
Despite the supposed misunderstanding between him and Wunmi, Ogungbe revealed himself and the actress have a new movie project title Oso (Wizard) on the way. He suggested that they would promote the movie together and even drop skits if possible.
The actor added that there is a cordial relationship between his first wife's child and the two children he had with Wunmi.

Wunmi, following rumours of a relationship with NURTW boss MC Oluomo, called out deadbeat dads.
The actress questioned how such men sleep at night after abandoning their children and leaving the burden of care solely to the mothers.
