Samklef, Jigan, Four Others Dragged by VDM Over WhatsApp Group Chat

Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, better known as Verydarkman, has been on a dragging spree since announcing that he would investigate the death of Mohbad.
He has been calling out people who were part of a WhatsApp chat he gained access to, sharing implicating messages from the group.

1. Iyabo Ojo accused of setting up WhatsApp group
Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, also known as Queen Mother, was tagged as the ringleader of the ‘secret’ WhatsApp group that included several people seeking justice for late singer Mohbad (real name Ilerioluwa Aloba).
In numerous videos, social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, better known as Verydarkman, shared messages sent by Iyabo Ojo to the group.
In one of her messages, she was accused of using the WhatsApp group to seek revenge on Naira Marley rather than pursuing justice for Mohbad. According to VDM, DRE DMW had mentioned that Iyabo Ojo said she wanted to take revenge for her daughter, who had been abused by Naira Marley.
She was also accused of lying about Wunmi being interrogated by the police and providing evidence that Wunmi had not been. The activist claimed that Iyabo Ojo also mentioned that Wunmi had done a second DNA test and hinted that the baby (Liam) she had for Mohbad was allegedly not his.
In another video, VDM stated that Iyabo Ojo had promised to apologise to Naira Marley after confessing at the police station that she had lied about him. He claimed that had she apologised, justice for Mohbad would have been achieved much sooner, and the real cause of the singer's death would have been discovered.
VDM also shared a message from Iyabo Ojo where she badmouthed the singer, claiming that he was chasing clout and didn’t follow Naira Marley, despite previously claiming to be the only artist who stood by Mohbad. Davido later took action against the actress.
2. Samklef, later exonerated by VDM
Music producer and recording artist Samuel Oguachuba, better known as Samklef, was another celebrity accused by VDM of being part of the WhatsApp group seeking justice for Mohbad.
According to VDM, Samklef had no clue that Iyabo Ojo was not seeking justice for Mohbad but had her own selfish motives. After his name was mentioned in a drag involving Davido, Samklef began calling out VDM, sharing old videos.
He claimed that VDM paid N20 million to hack their WhatsApp group chat. After a long back-and-forth, Samklef apologised to those he might have offended and shared how he became a member of the group.
Samklef also distanced himself from anything related to justice for Mohbad and warned that he should not be mentioned in the case again.

3. DR DRE DMW accused of blackmail
VDM did not spare DR DRE, the man handling Davido’s public relations. In a video shared by the activist, he alleged that DRE was the most demonic person he had ever encountered.
According to VDM, it was DRE who orchestrated his imprisonment just for asking questions that could uncover the truth about Mohbad's death. He added that DRE also sent his personal video to Gistlover to post.
VDM claimed that after DRE sent the video to the public, he reposted it and asked people to watch it.
VDM also accused DRE of blackmailing a lawyer who was speaking out and asking questions to reveal the truth about Mohbad’s death.
4. Tonto Dikeh dragged over WhatsApp group
Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh was also bashed by VDM over the secret WhatsApp group created by Iyabo Ojo.
He accused her of deceiving the public by claiming that she and the others were seeking justice for Mohbad. He read messages sent by Tonto Dikeh, where she asked Iyabo Ojo for a caption for the group's next public message.
She was also the one sharing updates from the DSS, and her chats showed her bragging about her connections with various security agencies.
VDM also shared a part of the conversation where Tonto Dikeh stated that the group didn’t care about the autopsy results, affirming that the outcome would only implicate the nurse who injected Mohbad.
5. Jigan’s back-and-forth with VDM
Actor in the Yoruba movie genre Abimbola Kazeem, better known as Jigan Baba Oja, was also called out by VDM over the WhatsApp group created by Iyabo Ojo in seeking justice for Mohbad.
VDM claimed people would be shocked by what Jigan said in the chat, despite his attempts to appear unaware. Reacting, Jigan said he joined the group out of love for Mohbad, recalling that Mohbad had made a music video about him just before his unfortunate death.
After Jigan’s video, VDM reacted and dared the actor to share screenshots of the messages he sent to the group. VDM dragged the Yoruba movie actor to filth, forcing him to reply.
In his response, Jigan accused VDM of paying to leak the WhatsApp chat and dared him to prove he had all the messages.
A few days after the drama with VDM, Jigan lost one of his ambassadorial deals and begged Nigerians for forgiveness.
6. K-solo arrested over Mohbad’s case
Nigerian music producer and artist Solomon Oyeniyi, better known as K-solo, was also mentioned among the celebrities accused of being part of the controversial WhatsApp group chat.
VDM was the one who announced that the singer was arrested in connection with Mohbad's death. After his arrest, Samklef speculated that K-solo might have been the one who leaked the chat to VDM.
The singer, however, stated that the police had taken his phone for forensic investigation.

DJ Splash spills on Iyabo Ojo Meanwhile, in a previous report by Legit.ng, DJ Splash, the Marlian member who went under the radar a couple of years ago, accused Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo of lying about their conversation.
Recall that the actress had gone online to share her side of things after VDM claimed that she had apologised during their meeting at the CP's office. In a new video shared by VDM, he played the clip from DJ Splash, who denied telling Iyabo Ojo certain things.
