Details of Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez's divorce
Ariana, 30, and Gomez, 28, had been separated for over a year before initiating divorce proceedings in September 2023.
Citing irreconcilable differences, the couple's settlement took effect on March 18, 2024, following California's six-month legal requirement.
The couple had a prenuptial agreement and had no children or significant legal disputes, making the split quick and clean.
In the settlement, Ariana agreed to make a one-time payment of $1.25m (N2 billion).
The settlement also dictated that Ariana would give Gomez half of the proceeds from the sale of their shared Los Angeles home.
Further, the Thank You Next singer will pay up to $25,000 (N40 million) towards Gomez's lawyer fees.
Ariana and Gomez started dating in 2020 and even went on lockdown together during the COVID-19 pandemic.
They then got married in a small ceremony at the singer's home in Montecito, California, on May 15, 2021.
Their split was announced in July 2023.

Soon after, Ariana reportedly got into a relationship with her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater.
The pair were rumoured to have started dating in December 2022 when they were filming the musical movie.
Notably, at the time, Slater was married to his high school sweetheart Lilly Jay, and the pair even welcomed a baby sometime in 2022.
Later, in 2023, Slater filed for divorce from Lilly days after Ariana and Gomez's split was made public.
Since then, Ariana and Slater have been spotted together going on dates and attending events.
