Nigerian singer David Adeleke aka Davido has made history in the entertainment industry after starting a special crowdfunding challenge that has raked in over N180 million for him.
Some days ago, the 30 BG star had teasingly shared a video on his Instasotry channel calling on friends to send him a million naira each, especially those who have benefitted from him in one way or another.

Davido cast the net even wider after calling on those who have enjoyed a hit record because of him to send money to his bank account.
In a matter of a few minutes, friends started sending money to the Assurance crooner with indigenous rap star, Zlatan Ibile, taking the lead.

More hours rolled by and Davido’s circle came through for him as over 180 people sent cash to his bank account.
Interestingly, in a fresh social media post, the singer has suggested that the money may be going into charity.
In light of this, Legit.ng conducted a poll to find out how Nigerians would spend the money if they were in his shoes.

The singer congratulated them for reuniting while adding that they should quickly send their N1 million donation just like other celebrities.
