Kwankwaso hails Kano students’ outstanding performance
Immediate past governor of Kano state, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, also congratulated students from the state for emerging as the best performers in the 2025 SSCE conducted by NECO.
In a post via X, Kwankwaso also praised the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for sustaining investments in the education sector, which he said made the achievement possible.
He noted that the development marks a clear departure from the past, when Kano’s results were sometimes withheld due to non-payment of examination fees. According to him, the current success is proof of the state government’s commitment to improving education over the last two years.
“This feat is a glaring result of the continuous investment in the educational sector over the past two years by the state government. It is therefore an important focus that should be maintained,” Kwankwaso wrote.
