Dangote Invites Young Nigerians To Apply for Its Graduate Programme, Announces Benefits, Deadline

Dangote Cement Plc has announced the launch of its 2025 Graduate Trainee Knowledge Transfer Programmes, offering young Nigerian graduates opportunities to build careers in both technical and support service roles.

The initiative is designed to develop a pipeline of skilled professionals by exposing participants to hands-on training, cross-functional projects, and mentorship from experienced experts across the company.

In a statement released on X, Dangote Group said there are two opportunities: the Support Services Graduate Trainee Programme and the Technical and Technical Support Graduate Trainee Programme.

The support services programme will focus on departments such as Human Resources, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Procurement, and Information Technology.

Dangote said:

"At Dangote Cement Plc, we are offering you the opportunity to join our 2025 Graduate Trainee Technical Engineers Knowledge Transfer Programme. As part of this programme, you will have the chance to learn and grow in a global business environment while contributing to the growth of our organisation."

Two opportunities for Nigerian graduate

Participants will engage in workshops, training sessions, and team-building activities while contributing to projects that improve operational efficiency.

For the technical and technical programme, candidates will undergo an 18-month training rotation across various cement plants and locations.

The programme is targeted at graduates in engineering, laboratory sciences, geology, and related fields, providing practical exposure in production, mining, instrumentation, and power engineering.

Technical programme requirements

  • Technical: First Degree/Higher Diploma in Chemical, Production, Mining Engineering; Geological Sciences, Laboratory Sciences, or Biochemistry.
  • Technical Support: First Degree/Higher Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Power Engineering disciplines.

Support services programme requirements

  • A Degree or Diploma in Social Sciences, Humanities, Business Administration, Law, or Information Technology
  • A knack for critical thinking, data analysis, and presenting creative solutions.

Dangote Cement said that both programmes are open to graduates who finished between 2022 and 2024, with a minimum of Second-Class Lower or HND Upper Credit, and who have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) by October 2025.

Applicants must not be older than 28 years by October 31, 2025.

Benefits for applicants

The company listed benefits including structured training and development, private health insurance, a pension plan, and paid time off.

Interested and qualified candidates are expected to submit applications through the Dangote Cement careers portal.

Dangote trains 2,000 truck drivers

In a related development, Legit.ng reported that Dangote Cement Plc has reiterated its dedication to improving road safety and operational effectiveness by continuously training and retraining its truck drivers across Nigeria.
