Why FAAN is warning passengers?

The warning follows an incident involving a passenger on Ibom Air at Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed Airport Domestic Terminal 2, where security personnel intervened before Aviation Security officials took the suspect into custody and handed her over to police for investigation and prosecution.

FAAN reiterated its call for all intending passengers to conduct themselves in a civil and orderly manner, adhere to all established airport and airline regulations, and ensure the safety, security, and comfort of all airport users.

It warned that inappropriate behaviour would be met with the full weight of applicable laws and protocols.
