Visually impaired couple who use beads to make bags, lamps and jewelry (photos)
If you need inspiration for life, this Nigerian couple provides plenty. They both are forced to live with such disability as blindness. But they are successful, do not give up and earn their way through life.
The couple who are identified as Jimoh and Bridget Ogunlayi got married in 2014. Both of them are blind but that does not stop them from being successful in business.
Many Nigerians complain about the lack of jobs but these people are done complaining and are busy working to put food on their table.

None of them was born blind as Bridget attended the University of Nigeria (Nsukka), where she read computer science while, Jimoh went to the Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo state and got a degree in social adaptation for people with impaired vision.
Jimoh lost his sight in 1993 in an accident while Bridget lost hers during treatment, a grave side effect of the drug given to her. It happened in 2008. Since that time they both have gone a long way.

Now they work with their hands and create amazing things. They use beads and wire and turn them into bags, lamps, jewelry, etc. They can make flower pots or baskets; you just name it. They get orders from Nigerian Farm Craft Center.

They love each other and enjoy their life together. They do not depend on others to provide for them , as they make beautiful crafts with their own hands.
