Aregbesola Deserves A Global Applause - Bishop Oyedepo
Bishop Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church (aka Winners’ Chapel), has commended Governor Aregebesola for his infrastructural renewal which has a positive effect on the people of Osun State.
Bishop Oyedepo, who made this appreciation during a courtesy call on Aregbesola at the Bola Ige House, Osogbo said that “any governance that is producing results and affecting the lives of vast majority of the people, must be deeply appreciated”.
He also declared that the new educational policy, which had culminated in the building of mega schools in the state deserves global applause.
He said: “I deeply appreciate the infrastructural development. Besides, the education revolution is for us a great achievement. I can see the massive road construction going on.
"This is to the benefit of the people. No policy can remove the roads. I am very impressed”.
The Bishop also encouraged stakeholders to always live, work and promote peace:
“There is nothing like peace in the whole world. We should always walk towards whatever will promote peace and peaceful co-existence among our people. Let us work for an atmosphere that encourages peace, which engenders growth and development. This is because life is all about promoting the well-being of the people”.
Meanwhile, Governor Aregbesola, in his remarks, disclosed that his administration had no political, religious or tribal preference, stressing that “it is absolutely impossible for me to be a religious fundamentalist owing to my all-faith inclusive background”.
“If there is any accusation anyone could level against me, it is that I have zero level tolerance for religious opportunism," he stated.
