TRAGEDY: READ How Madman Causes Havoc In Popualr Market In Jigawa

Pandemonium broke out in Sule-Tankarkar Market in Sule-Tankarkar Local Government Area of Jigawa State on Thursday when a lunatic allegedly burnt no fewer than thirty stalls.

According to the Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Corps in the state, Mr Muhammad Gidado, the fire started at about 3pm on Thursday.

He said the fire was caused by a mad man who set fire close to the stalls.

Gidado added that: “It took more than 30 minutes for men of the fire service and the NSCDC and other residents of the area to put out the fire."

The commandant advised people to be mindful and extra careful of lunatics who roam the markets and residential areas.
