Mama Taraba: Executive Interfering With Judiciary- PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reacted to the victory of Hajia Aisha Alhassan at the tribunal on Saturday, November 7, 2015.

The party's candidate, Darius Ishaku, was said to have erred in the build up to the April 11 gubernatorial election, and was subsequently sacked by the tribunal as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate was declared winner.

In a series of tweets by the party after the ruling on Saturday, it was revealed that the ruling of the tribunal shows another interference of the executive with the judiciary.

Meanwhile, the counsel to the newly-announced governor of Taraba state, Mahmoud Magaji (SAN), has described his client's win at the tribunal as victory for democracy.
