Police Hunt Man For Beating Daughter To Death

The Ogun Police Command has placed Bisi Onigogo, for allegedly beating his daughter, Yemi, to death police "wanted list".

According to the command’s Spokesman, Mr Muyiwa Adejobi, statement, the Onigogo committed the crime on March 3 at Ogbere in Ijebu East Local Government Area of the state.

Onigogo was annoyed over his daughter’s misbehaviour and allegedly beat her to death, and escaped immediately he noticed she was dead.

The police had launched a manhunt for the suspect, and gave assurance that he would soon be apprehended.

Meanwhile, the state Police Commissioner, Ikemefuna Okoye, has urged parents to exercise caution while correcting their children.

Okoye said that the police would not condone any excesses contrary to the law.
