Nollywood Stars March Against Domestic Violence And Jungle Justice

Nollywood actors and actresses, mostly from the Yoruba-speaking section of the Nigerian movie industry today marched against domestic violence and jungle justice in Nigeria.

The home movie makers took school children along with them, demonstrating that children have prominence for future and deserve to be properly treated.

They admonished parents/guardians to desist from abusing their children/wards. While calling on government to be more pro-active on policy initiation and implementation to protect women and children. The protesters condemned jungle justice, citing the case of sodomy of three women who were tortured and sodomized for allegedly stealing pepper at Ejigbo market.
