Ex- registrar's wife commits suicide in Edo.
The whole family was left in a deep shock, especially the husband, Mr. Larry Edokpayi, who discovered the dangling body of his wife in the boys’ quarters of the house.
Mrs. Kate Edokpayi used to be an assistant director with the Edo State Ministry of Education, overseeing the Ekpoma zonal office.
She did not leave behind any suicide note; however, it is suspected that she may have committed suicide out of frustration over her health challenge. The woman was unable to get cure for her diabetes.
According to Leadership, Mr. Edokpayi had initially suspected kidnapping after a long search for the deceased before he was advised to check the boys’ quarter.
On getting to the boys’ quarters, Mr. Edokpayi was encountered a blocked door, which was forced open rather quickly.
It was a nightmare for the loving husband to find the corpse of his wife dangling from the ceiling.
