Hundreds Of Villagers Flee Adamawa Fearing Boko Haram Violence

Reports reaching us indicate that hundreds of village residents in Madagali Local Government Area (LGA) of Adamawa state fled their homes fearing Boko Haram attacks.

The exodus was caused by the rumours that the dreaded Boko Haram sect are planning to attack the area.

One of the residents, contacted by phone, disclosed that hundreds of Bitiku, Imirsa and Ghansa villages in Madagali LGAs of Adamawa state are now taking refuge in Michika LGA headquarters in the state.

Madagali LGA shares boundary with Borno state, labeled as the stronghold of Boko Haram insurgents.
