Photos: Anyone Who Steals Deserves To Die - Protesters

A group of protesters on Thursday besieged the Defence House in the Maitama area of Abuja, which the current president-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, is currently using as his office, to demand capital punishment for corrupt officials.

The protesters all carried placards and sang passionately but the name of their group could not be identified as they seemed to be ordinary citizens who had come together to fight for a cause they believe in.

The protesters carried placards which read: “Bring on death penalty on corruption, then all official thieves will become saints for the best of Nigeria.

"Corruption is the father of satan, kill it now and be saved.

“Bring on death penalty on corruption, then all honourable thieves will become saints for the best of Nigeria.

Muhammadu Buhari during his election campaign promised to prosecute all corrupt officials under the fair and firm arm of the law, but capital punishment for corruption seems to be way overboard.
