The latest survey, provided by SalarySurvey, shows the statistics of salaries in Nigeria. Check the most highly-paid jobs, as well as average salary of the Nigerian citizens.

According to the study there are 23 job categories with different salary rates.

According to the estimates, the average yearly salary in Nigeria is 658,324 NGN (USD3,596), with the maximum of 5,000,000 NGN (USD27,320) and the minimum of 37,000 NGN (USD202).

It should be noted that there is a real problem with salaries and their timely payment in Nigeria.

For instance, the Secretary General of the National Union of Textile Garment and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria (NUTGTWN), Comrade Issa Aremu, raised the issue of non-payment of workers’ salaries by many states across Nigeria in December 2014. He tagged the situation as a wage robbery and theft and an economic crime. According to the information by NLC VP, for about three months now, 22 state governors are delaying or refusing to pay salaries.

That is why the first thing that future president of Nigeria should take into consideration is paying fair salaries in time.
