A Nigerian man identified as Lola Okunrin has expressed gratitude to God for escaping death after the BRT bus he boarded had a tyre burst on the third mainland bridge.
Lola with the Twitter handle @lollypeezle said the vehicle was on the closest lane to the water when it happened.
According to the young man, he saw death but he escaped it. Sharing a photo of the vehicle on Twitter, he wrote:

"I just want to thank God. Our BRT tire bursted gbooola on Third Mainland Bridge while on speed. We were on the closest lane to the water. The bus did some zigzag and jagbagbagbagagagaagbom before it finally stopped. I saw death but Baba Modupe, Kudos to the driver."
Reacting, a tweep with the handle @Omobolatito_Y said:
"Thank God for safety but I think it's high time for you to be careful because you had a similar experience recently."

The unidentified man, in a video shared on Twitter by @BiafraS41364171, said he still cannot explain how he is still alive.
Making hand gesticulations to a damaged car in an area, he said he had driven the vehicle with his brother as they headed for Asaba.
