Kane, who won this season's Golden Boot award and Playmaker of the Year award recently opened the door for a possible exit as he looks to win titles.

It is understood it would take a mammoth fee to convince Spurs to sell one of their most important assets, but Neville believes the inclusion of the trio of Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard, and Dan James might sweeten the deal for the north Londoners to turn it down.

"So it’s whether they could get a player to Tottenham that would makeweight the deal. And I think that’s what United maybe have in Martial, James, and Lingard," the ex-defender told Sky Sports.
"They’re types of players you could send there [to Spurs] plus a chunk of money and it might make Daniel Levy happy, I don’t know," he added.

Neville further played down the extent to which Kane is pushing for a departure, with the United legend revealing the forward never indicated he wanted to leave.

"In that interview with me he never said he wanted to leave Tottenham or he was going to leave Tottenham," the Englishman said.
