In a LinkedIn post, the young lady said that the organisation is exploring more approaches to skill up women in many areas so that their development is sure.
She revealed that Durian Nigeria has a fashion centre where clothes are not only designed but waste fabrics from the production process recycled for other products.
In addition to that, the organisation also teaches women the art of skincare production. According to Joy, the women are connected to the marketplace so their skills can be financially rewarding.
A part of her post read:
“This year, we are looking forward to training another batch of women for one year and connecting them to the right marketplaces where their skills and expertise are needed.”
