Juan Cuadrado's late-minute penalty was all Juventus needed to beat Serie A champions Inter Milan 3-2 at the Allianz Stadium.

The Colombian was the saving grace for the Old Lady who are struggling to qualify for Champions League next season.

Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring for coach Andrea Pirlo's men in the 24th minute through a rebound after his initial effort from the penalty spot was denied by Samir Handanovic.

With the game looking like it was going to end in a draw, Juan Cuadrado steps up with a thunderous shot to restore his side's lead in the added minutes of the opening half.

With so much pressure from Inter Milan, Giorgio Chiellini scored in his own net to help the away team level up in the 83rd minute.

The game was heading for a draw until Cuadrado was brought down in the danger zone while trying to dribble his way into the box.

He then stepped up to power it into the bottom corner of the post to help revive their chances of playing in Europe's elite competition next season.

Meanwhile, a red card each from Rodrigo Bentancur and Marcelo Brozovic meant both teams finished the game with 10 men each.
