A Nigerian undergraduate student has been hailed on social media for his selflessness.

The young man identified as Mark Mgbede had shared on LinkedIn platform that he had taken it upon himself to help his colleagues academically as they struggled to grasp what the lecturers taught.

According to him, it became necessary as many of them had difficulty understanding what was being taught.

He said he was excited to get good reports after the examinations.

His post read in part:

"Well, last semester, was very short and the academic calendar was compressed, students in my class find it difficult to study and understand what was being taught by some boring lecturers.
"I took it upon myself to tutor everyone as a way to help them through some course(Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials and Advance Calculus)
"I was so glad to see smiling faces all through the exam saying "my papers went well", which shows that my tutorial paid off."

Mark called on other brilliant folks to help students in need of academic assistance.

In a chat with Legit.ng, while responding to question on what motivated his selfless act, Mark said sharing positivity has always been his guiding principle. He was fired up when he listened to complaints from his colleagues.

"Sharing Positivity has always been my motor, and hearing complain from student one after the other saying that this particular course is giving them issue motivated me to come up with free tutorial in other to help them succeed in their exam."

In the course of organizing the tutorials, he said he really didn't face any serious difficulty.

"I didn't face any challenges regarding holding the tutorial because the consumables like makers, electric bulb used because it was an evening tutorial was gotten by the people that attended the tutorial, and that along made me see their interest in learning and it also motivated me to continue teaching them."

Reacting to his post, Emmanuel Mgbede said:

"Those who give knowledge always have abundant of it. remain consistent bro."

Imoleayo Ehinmetan wrote:

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a beautiful female teacher who cooked and offered free meals to her students warmed hearts on social media.

The teacher named Abena Mankosa, according to BBC News Pidgin, who teaches at the Aninkroma D/A primary school in Ashanti region, Ghana has been a blessing to her students.

BBC News Pidgin in an Instagram post, shared pictures of some of the benefiting students as they enjoyed the free meal given to them by their kind teacher. It is said that she makes the cookings with the financial support she got from her Facebook friends.
