The APC chieftain recalled how the party during the 2019 general elections lost the governorship polls in some states. He attributed the loss to sabotage by APC leaders in the affected states.

He went on to call for regulation of party leaders’ activities especially elected representatives, saying the inability to do this will be injurious to the vision of the APC as a truly progressive party.

As the general elections draw closer, the director-general of the PGF warned the governing party to be mindful of enemies from within, The Nation reports.

The politician is of the opinion that the electoral prospects of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other opposition parties are dependent on the outcome of internal contests in APC.
