Juventus name cheap price tag for Ronaldo after Champions League exit

The 2006 World Cup winner told The Guardian:

"Look, in my head, there truly is a final stop sign, a maximum bar, which is June 2023.
"That is the maximum, really, really the maximum. But I could also stop playing in four months."

Buffon has the record for the most Serie A appearances when he beat Paolo Maldini's 647 games last season in Juve's 4-1 win over Torino.

And the veteran shot-stopper has added six more matches to add to his record in the Italian topflight division.

The only trophy missing in Buffon's cabinet is the Champions League and the Italian goalkeeper has had three attempts in winning but lost in the finals to AC Milan, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

His brief spell with Paris saint-Germain saw them being knocked out of the round of 16 and was also stopped at the same stage last season to Lyon.
