Actress Funmi Awelewa talks relationship as she fires back at people advising her to marry

It appears the question tag on Instagram Story is the new method of celebrities chatting with fans and Nollywood actress, Funmi Awelewa, seems to have jumped on it as well.

Just recently, she had a Q&A session with some fans where she shared her thoughts about relationships and plans to settle down - or not.

A curious fan had asked about the reason for keeping her dating life private. In her response, Funmi made it known that she didn't celebrate mere relationships and that she would go public only when she got married.

In her words:

"I will show off my man when I get married. I no dey celebrate relationships."

Interestingly, she more or less admitted to being in a relationship as she revealed her man is an indigene of Ekiti state.

Well, it appears fans were not backing down on knowing more about the actress' personal life. In one post, a fan asked when she would marry and expressed excitement about seeing what Awelewa's babies would look like.

The actress, however, did not share their enthusiasm. Awelewa advised her to channel that energy into making her own babies and learn to mind her business instead of monitoring other people's lives.

Another fan advised her - in God's name - to marry in 2021. The film star sent the prayer back to the person, advising them to say the prayer to the oldest aunty in their family.

A while ago, the actress took to social media to celebrate after a fan gifted her with N500k.

The screen diva whose most recent movie, Ebudola 3, was released on September 22, revealed the fan commended her for the unpredictability of the movie.

Awelewa called on her 1.3 million followers to help her appreciate the fan whose identity she kept hidden.
