The Mrs title is not a trophy, it's an insult to put it before my name, Kemi Olunloyo says

- According to her, she has never been married so it is an insult to add the prefix to her name

Controversial Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, recently took to Twitter to address the people who are fond of adding the Mrs title to her name.

She a post where someone complimented her and then moved on to address her as Dr, Mrs Kemi. She noted that it is an insult to address her as a married woman and she once slapped someone for making the mistake.

Kemi further said that many women think the tag is a trophy title, whereas it’s not.

In a reply to her, a user identified as @Immobiliari mentioned that the journalist answers her family name and not her husband’s name, and urged the public to take note.

Olunloyo was quick to tell him that he was not focused and she clearly wrote that she has never been married.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Kemi Oluunloyo in a tweet claimed that one of Nigeria’s top music stars, Wizkid, was the only real billionaire in the country.

Explaining further, Olunloyo said that if a president gave a person a gift that made them billions, then it was not the country’s money.
