The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, has said anyone battling the deadly coronavirus that enters Iwo community will be automatically healed.
The monarch made the disclosure during the ceremony to mark his 5th coronation anniversary, Vanguard reports.
According to Oba Akanbi, traditional rulers have healing power inherent in them because they are God’s ambassadors on earth.
He prayed for an end to the disease in Nigeria and advised people to adhere all safety protocols by the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC).
It should be noted that the deadly disease, which was first recorded in China, has taken several lives around the world and many people keep testing positive to it on a daily basis.
The traditional ruler said his community has witnessed a series of development within five years of ascending the throne, adding that his people are living healthy and happily.
In a similar news, ace Nigerian comedian Ali Baba has taken to social media to advise people to adhere to safety guidelines against the deadly coronavirus after recently surviving the disease.
In a video on his Instagram page, Ali Baba said people that contracted COVID-19 died in the isolation centre he was taken to when he tested positive for the disease.
According to the popular comedian, anyone who says coronavirus is not real should not be trusted. He said the virus is real and killing people.
Ali Baba expressed condolences to friends and families who have lost their loved ones to the deadly disease and warned people to be wary of those claiming that COVID-19 is a scam.
